Meet Fold, the debut sofa collection by Milan-based design studio 967arch for True, where minimalism and material mastery collide in perfect balance. Inspired by a single gesture—a bend, a detail—Fold takes its name from the subtle curvature that transforms wood into comfort.
This is a sofa with two personas: the plush, inviting softness of the seat, and the crisp architectural precision of the backrest and arms. Elevated by a slender tubular metal base with sculpted legs, the solid wooden shell feels effortlessly light—almost floating—while embracing the ergonomic curves of the upholstered cushions.
Just like a piece of folded paper, the wooden sides defy rigidity, bending with grace to cradle the body. It’s a visual and tactile contradiction that makes Fold not only beautiful but brilliantly functional.
